I look forward to leading our team as we expand our reach, bring more companies into our community, and create tangible benefits for our members  and partners on their journey towards Net Zero.”

Gavin Tweedie Appointed Chief Evangelist

Co-founder Gavin Tweedie has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Evangelist. In this capacity, Gavin will be responsible for steering the organisation’s future growth strategy, with a focus on international expansion and partnership development.

Endorsement from Director Russell Dalgleish

Russell Dalgleish, Chair of the Scottish Business Network and Director of Net Zero Nation, praised the efforts of the team under Gavin’s leadership, stating;

“The establishment of Net Zero Nation is a testament to what can be achieved when purpose and passion come together to address the existential challenge of our time. With Gavin in his new role as Chief Evangelist, I am confident that we can accelerate our growth and deepen our impact.”

Looking Ahead: Expansion and Collaboration

Having recently launched a new Rolling Net Zero Accelerator to deliver services fully online, Net Zero Nation is poised for significant growth. The organisation plans to expand across the UK this year and internationally by 2025. Net Zero Nation is actively seeking new partners to join them in their mission to drive meaningful change in the fight against climate change.

About Net Zero Nation

Net Zero Nation was established to accelerate the transition to Net Zero by mobilising SMEs through a unique, 12-month Accelerator program. This program guides member companies through benchmarking, carbon reduction, and promoting their Net Zero journey, all while helping them become more resilient and successful organisations.

Since establishment, the community has grown to an annual turnover over £500m and 100,000 tons of annual emissions under management. Each of these organisations have a clearly defined pathway to Net Zero aligned with the Science Based Targets (SECR, PPN 06/21). Through the collaboration and activities provided by Net Zero Nation’s programs, member companies have secured seven-figure contracts creating hundreds of jobs.
